"Art That Opens Your Eyes."
The Oculus series is inspired by the iris of the eye - “oculus” means “eye” in Latin.
This unique series marks my very first paintings created with the intention of exploring a full-time career as an artist. As my debut series, it forms the foundation of my artistic expression.
The works were presented in the exhibition “An Artistic Explosion” at Galleri Hamnkrogen in Kalmar during the summer of 2022.
The Oculus series will be followed by an additional series in the future.
In these works, the bird wings symbolize freedom, inviting the viewer to explore vision, perspective, and imagination.
